What we immediately noticed about Lodging2Go is the intuitive design. True to its name, the focus of this site is lodging, USA lodging in particular. It’s quite easy to find your way around here. A large, sectional map of the United States allows you to immediately “zero in” on your area of choice. Not a geography major? Not a problem… text links to individual state are also included.

Lodging2Go also has a nice mix of support features. “Hot Hotel Deals” is a section that frequently posts special rates to secected cities. Extended stay hotels have raised the bar in terms of value offered to travelers. The traditional hotel product is losing share to facilities that can provide guests with a home away from home – at a good rate, in their “Extended Stay” section. Be sure to check out the “New Listings” feature for just added properties.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg! There are travel forums, traffic and construction information, detailed weather conditions, alternate route suggestions, theme park information, toll prices, gas prices, the list just goes on and on. It seems that everytime we visit, they have added a new feature!
